I've been giving out unsolicited movie recommendations for quite a while now. As a fan of the horror and thriller genres in particular, I've seen many movies about the supernatural, the paranormal, and the downright frightening. Every one of them has a deeply rooted connection to mythology. Whether it's of the ancient or modern style, all books and movies that involve creatures or events from beyond the normal human experience are influenced by the myths of the past. That's why I've decided to extend my unsolicited advice to the internet. And while I'm at it, I might as well include some recommended books to read.
