Death at my feet

It was April 17, 2005 I was only 9 years old. This took place in my bedroom. My little brother and I decided to sleep on the floor. Why? I don't know. He went to sleep but I didn't because I was always afraid to. As I layed there time went by. When I looked at my phone it was 3:07am. When I looked back up he was there standing right at my feet - standing around 7ft tall, long black robe and a long stick with a big blade at the top. Then I realized it was death. He stood there looking at me. I couldn't see its face but I could feel it looking, so I looked back at it. After 3 minutes or so I blinked and it was gone.
