Little Girl

It was about 2:30 a.m. and I couldn't sleep. I sat on my couch and opened my laptop to play a game.

About an hour went by and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look and I instantly couldn't breathe. There at the end of my hallway was a little girl, maybe 9 years old.
Her complexion was gray and her eyes were very dark. She was wearing a white but dirty bonnet and an old fashioned dress with a white (again dirty) apron tied around it. Her chin was slightly turned toward her chest and she was just staring at me.

We stared at each other for what seemed to be about 30 seconds. I got a creepy feeling and looked down on my laptop, waited for about 5 seconds and looked back up. She was gone. My fiance said he's seen shadows at the end of the hallway several times.

I saw her again about a week later but it was very quickly. She was there and then just gone. I've thought about it a lot, because I want to know what happened to her. Why she wants to show herself to me. I have had experiences like this in the past, but there is just something about her that intrigues me.
