Her Auburn hair was flung across her face as she jumped down from her window, breathing heavily. She stretched her muscles as she began to change.

Her neck thickened, growing furrier by the second. Her four paws thrummed the ground as she raced through the woods, howling joyfully. This is what it means to be free, she thought, to truly, TRULY be free, not a care in the world. And tonight, tonight she won't change back.

She hated the lack of fur and poor eyesight and hearing. She howled gleefully as she ran off to join her pack.

This is where she belonged, free at last.
