As I turn off the lights
I lay in the center
Hoping nothing can reach me
Shadows dance on the walls
and I try to ignore them
In the morning I say
Its all in my head
Till at night it
Begins again

As I turn off the lights
The shadows become more bolder
Laughing at my attempt to
Block them
They creep into my dreams
Waiting for my defenses to

As I turn off the lights
The Shadows cheer
Knowing they have me
Fingers reach out
My skin goes cold
As close I eyes
I prepare to fight
But it fills my soul
I cry out

No one can hear me
Only silence
So they just continue
Till there is nothing left
But a hollow shell
