The Howl

It happened one night when I was on the computer watching some anime. Sure I might have been reading some stories about demons, but that is all.

Well as the time went on, I was not tired and by around one in the morning I heard this howl or sound which sounded like it was coming from the inside of my house. To the left of the computer was a wall and to the right was a window which blinds were closed. On the other two are doors to my room and spare.

The howl came from the corridor to the left of me. I pretended not to hear it and after a few minutes I heard it again and a few seconds later I heard it once more. After the third howl I turned the light on and the sound stopped immediately. I didn't move from that spot until the sun came out.
